Azienda Agricola Pievalta
Pievalta is located in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi area. It covers a total of 44.1 hectares, 30.4 of which are biodynamically cultivated.
Its vineyards outline the panorama of four of the 25 Castelli: Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto, San Paolo di Jesi and Cupramontana. Different soils, different altitudes, different exposures.
Pievalta was founded in 2002 and its history is linked to that of Barone Pizzini, who chose the Castelli di Jesi for his Verdicchio. Alessandro Fenino, an oenologist with several vintages at Barone Pizzini behind him, was entrusted with the direction of the project.
In 2008 Alessandro was joined by Silvia Loschi, his colleague at Barone Pizzini and now his life partner. Silvia chooses to share with Alessandro the dream of living in contact with nature. She is in charge of hospitality, guided tours and land relations.
